Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Mixer Events LLC ("Bazaar", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website at bazaar.events and our event-planning application (collectively, the "Services").
Bazaar is a platform for planning and running events. Hosts use Bazaar to create events, manage guest lists and RSVPs, build run-of-show and checklists, and find and book vendors. Vendors (such as caterers, photographers, venues, and planners) use Bazaar to publish a business profile, receive booking inquiries, send contracts and invoices, accept payments, and manage their availability. This Policy applies to both hosts and vendors, and to anyone who visits our website.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. Your use of the Services is also governed by our Terms of Service, which incorporates this Policy. Terms used here that are not defined have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.
1. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time as our Services evolve. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice in the app, by email, or by another reasonable means before the change takes effect. If you continue to use the Services after an update, you accept the revised Policy.
2. Information We Collect
a) Information you provide to us
When you create an account and use the Services, you provide information directly to us, including:
  • Account and profile information: your name, email address, phone number, password, profile photo, and (for vendors) business name, service categories, description, location, pricing, gallery images, and links.
  • Event information: event names, dates, times, locations, descriptions, schedules, checklists, budgets, and any other details you add to an event.
  • Guest and contact information: when a host builds a guest list or sends invitations, the host provides information about their guests, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, RSVP responses, meal selections, plus-one and child counts, and seating assignments. If you are a guest, this information may be provided to us by the host who invited you.
  • Booking and business communications: inquiries, messages, contracts, invoices, quotes, reviews, and related details exchanged between hosts and vendors.
  • Payment information: when you pay for a subscription or send or receive payment through the Services, payment details are collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Bazaar does not store full card numbers or bank account numbers. Vendors who accept client payments complete onboarding directly with Stripe, which may collect identity and tax information to comply with financial regulations.
  • Content you upload: photos, files, playlists, and other materials you add to your account or an event.
  • Mobile app permissions: with your permission, the Bazaar mobile app uses your camera (to scan guest QR codes and photograph documents such as contracts and menus), your photo library (to upload images), your contacts (to add people you select as guests), and your calendar (to sync your events). Only the items you choose are sent to us. The app does not scan or upload your contacts, photos, or calendar in bulk, and it does not request your device location.
  • Support and feedback: information you provide when you contact us for support, respond to a survey, or send feedback.
b) Information we collect automatically
When you use the Services, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, app version, the pages and features you use, dates and times of activity, referring pages, and diagnostic information such as crash reports. On our website we collect this information using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7); in our mobile app we collect it directly. We use it to operate, secure, and improve the Services. We do not request or collect your device's location. When you search for a venue or add an address, we collect the address you type or select, not the location of your device.
c) Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from third parties, including:
  • Sign-in providers: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile information from that provider to create and authenticate your account.
  • Connected calendars: if you choose to connect a calendar (such as Google Calendar or Apple Calendar), we access calendar information to provide calendar sync features, as described in Section 4.
  • Publicly available sources: for vendor discovery, we may collect business information (such as a business name, services, and public contact details) from publicly available sources to build or enrich vendor profiles.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including creating events, managing guest lists and RSVPs, enabling vendor discovery and bookings, and processing contracts, invoices, and payments.
  • Authenticate you and secure your account.
  • Send transactional communications by email and SMS, such as RSVP confirmations, invitations, booking and inquiry updates, reminders, contract and invoice notifications, and account and security alerts.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Personalize and improve the Services, develop new features, and understand how the Services are used.
  • Send product updates and marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising networks or serve interest-based advertising on the Services.
4. Third-Party Service Providers and Integrations
We work with trusted service providers who process information on our behalf so we can operate the Services. They are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us and must protect it. The main providers we rely on are:
  • Supabase: database, authentication, file storage, and backend infrastructure that hosts your account and event data.
  • Expo (Expo Application Services): mobile app delivery, over-the-air updates, and push notification routing to Apple's and Google's notification services.
  • Stripe: payment processing for subscriptions and for client payments to vendors (via Stripe Connect), including related identity and tax verification for vendors.
  • Resend: delivery of transactional and marketing email.
  • Telnyx: delivery of SMS text messages.
  • Google: Places and Maps for venue and address search; Google Sign-In for authentication; Google Wallet for event passes; and Google Calendar for optional calendar sync.
  • Apple: Apple Wallet for event passes, Apple Calendar for optional calendar sync, and Apple Music for playlist features.
  • Spotify: playlist and music features.
  • HubSpot: customer relationship management for vendor and business communications.
  • Cal.com: scheduling and booking features embedded in the Services.
  • Vercel: website hosting and performance measurement.
Google Calendar integration
If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, Bazaar accesses your calendar events through Google's API using the calendar.events permission. Bazaar's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this access only to: (1) add and update your confirmed Bazaar events on your Google Calendar; (2) show your upcoming Google Calendar events so you can optionally import them into Bazaar; and (3) read your busy times to prevent double-booking. We store an encrypted access credential, your connected account email, and identifiers of the events we create or import. We do not sell this data, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, use it to train machine-learning models, or transfer it to any third-party artificial-intelligence service, including our AI provider Anthropic. You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time in account settings, which revokes our access. You may also revoke access directly at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Apple Calendar integration
If you choose to connect Apple Calendar, you provide an app-specific password generated from your Apple ID. We store this credential in encrypted form and use it only to sync events and read availability, in the same limited ways described above for Google Calendar. You can disconnect at any time in account settings and revoke the app-specific password from your Apple ID account.
5. How We Share Your Information
We share information in the following ways:
  • Between hosts and vendors: when you send an inquiry, accept a booking, or exchange contracts, invoices, or messages, the relevant information is shared with the other party to complete the transaction.
  • Within an event: information you add to an event may be visible to other people on that event (such as co-hosts, planners, staff, and assigned vendors) according to their role and permissions.
  • Service providers: with the providers listed in Section 4 who process information on our behalf.
  • Legal and safety: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bazaar, our users, or others, or to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case any successor will be bound by this Policy.
  • With your consent: in other cases where you direct or permit us to share your information.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
6. Your Choices and Rights
  • Access, correction, and deletion: you can update most account and profile information directly in the app. You can delete your account yourself at any time, without installing the app, at bazaar.events/delete-account, or in the app under Account settings. If you cannot sign in, or you no longer have the app, email support@bazaar.events from the address on the account and we will delete it for you within 30 days. You can also email that address to request access to or correction of your personal information. Deleting your account will delete the personal information associated with it, subject to limited retention described in Section 8.
  • Marketing communications: you can opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message. Transactional messages necessary to operate the Services will still be sent.
  • SMS messages: if your number is in the US or Canada, you can opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for help. Messages to numbers outside the US and Canada are sent from a name rather than a number and cannot receive a reply, so if that is you, turn text messages off in your account settings or email support@bazaar.events and we will do it for you. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Connected calendars: you can disconnect a connected calendar at any time in account settings.
  • Cookies: you can control cookies through your browser settings (see Section 7).
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Services, and understand usage so we can improve the product. We use essential cookies that are required for the Services to function and analytics cookies that help us measure performance. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. You can set your browser to refuse some or all cookies, but parts of the Services may not work properly if you do. Our Services do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals at this time.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. After you close your account, we may retain certain information as required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and prevent fraud. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
9. Security
We use physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards designed to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Sensitive credentials, such as connected-calendar tokens, are stored in encrypted form, and account passwords are hashed so they are not visible to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that occurs under your account.
10. Children
The Services are intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us personal information, please contact us at support@bazaar.events and we will delete it.
11. U.S. Operations and California Privacy
Bazaar operates in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States. California residents may have the right to request information about the categories of personal information we have disclosed and to exercise other rights regarding their personal information. To make a request, contact us at support@bazaar.events.
12. Google API Services Limited Use and AI
Bazaar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs, including Google Workspace APIs such as Google Calendar, to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Bazaar uses a compliant third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to power certain optional product features. We do not send, transfer, or otherwise make available any data obtained from Google APIs (such as your Google Calendar events, availability, or connected-account information) to Anthropic or to any other artificial-intelligence or machine-learning service. Data received from Google APIs is never used to develop, improve, or train generalized or personalized AI or ML models, whether our own or a third party's. Any AI-powered features operate only on data you provide directly to Bazaar that does not originate from Google APIs.
