Vendor network

Keep the vendors you recommend, and the ones who may not work your events.

1. Open Account in the sidebar, then Vendor network.
2. The Preferred tab is the businesses you trust. Click Add, search Bazaar for them, or type their name if they are not on Bazaar yet.
3. A business that is not on Bazaar needs an email, and we invite them so your clients can book them here.
4. Two switches at the top decide what happens with the list, and they are separate. "Show this list on my public profile" publishes it. "Suggest these vendors to my clients" offers them to the hosts of events you work, for the roles that event has not filled, and to anyone who has just sent you an inquiry.
5. The Restricted tab is businesses that may not work your events. It stays private, they are never told, and it never appears on your profile.
6. To put the restricted list in your contracts, add the "Restricted Vendors" block to a contract template.
7. Once your recommendations turn into bookings, a Referrals section shows who sent work to whom.

Keep a private list of businesses that may not work your events, and state it in your contracts.

1. Open Account in the sidebar, then Vendor network, and switch to the Restricted tab.
2. Click Add. Search Bazaar for the business, or type their name or email address if they are not on Bazaar.
3. If you have their email, add it. It is never emailed. It only lets us match them to their account if they join Bazaar later, so the warning names them exactly instead of guessing from the spelling.
4. Add a reason if you want one. It is shown to a host we warn, and in the contract block, so write it for them to read.
5. The list itself stays private. The business is never told they are on it, and it never appears on your profile.
6. To state it to clients, open a contract template and add the "Restricted Vendors" block. The list is captured when the contract is drafted, so changing it later never alters a contract someone already signed.
7. A host is warned either way round: when they add one of these businesses to an event you are on, and when they add you to an event one of them is already on. It never blocks the booking.

Decide separately whether your preferred list appears on your profile and whether it is suggested to your clients.

1. Open Account in the sidebar, then Vendor network. You start on the Preferred tab.
2. The two switches under VISIBILITY are independent, and both start off.
3. "Show this list on my public profile" adds a section to your profile. Everyone listed is told they appear there and can ask to be removed.
4. "Suggest these vendors to my clients" does two things. On events you are working, the hosts see your list for the roles they have not filled. And anyone who sends you an inquiry sees it on the confirmation screen, so they can ask one of your people while they still have the details to hand.
5. A vendor is only suggested where they actually work, using the travel settings on their own profile.
6. A business you added who has not joined Bazaar yet is marked Pending. They stay on your list, but they are not shown on your profile and not suggested to clients until they accept the invite and set up a profile.
7. Turning either one off takes effect straight away.
