Forms

Build the inquiry forms clients fill out so you collect the right details up front.

  1. Open Templates in the sidebar, then Forms. The page is titled Custom Forms.
  2. Click "New form" and pick how to start: "Blank form", "Use template", "Import from Google Forms", or "Import from Jotform".
  3. Open a form to add your questions, and use "Preview" to see it exactly as a client fills it in, on phone and desktop.
  4. Click the form name at the top to rename it and write the intro clients read.
  5. Use a form’s menu to set it as the default, which is the one new inquiries use.
  6. Search by name or sort by newest, oldest, or name to find a form.

Create an inquiry form

Build a custom inquiry form for clients to fill out.

Find it: Forms page, the "New form" dropdown → Blank form

Preview your form

See your inquiry form exactly as a client fills it in, and switch between phone and desktop to check both.

  1. Open the form you want to check.
  2. Click "Preview" in the top-right.
  3. Switch between Desktop and Phone to see each layout.
  4. Close the preview to go back to editing.

Edit form name and description

Rename the form and write the intro clients read at the top of it. The description supports formatting, so you can use headings and lists.

  1. Open the form you want to change.
  2. Click the form name at the top.
  3. Edit the name and the description. The description toolbar supports bold, lists, and headings.
  4. Click Save. Both are updated together.

Set the default form

Choose which form new inquiries use by default.

  1. Open Forms.
  2. Click the star on the form you want as your default. A filled gold star marks the one that is default now.
  3. Confirm. Only one form can be the default, so setting a new one releases the old.
  4. Click the filled star to remove the default. Until you pick another, people see the Bazaar form when they click Book.

Show offerings at the end of your form

Have clients answer your questions first and pick an offering at the end.

  1. Open Forms and open the form you want to change.
  2. In "Built-in sections" at the top of the builder, turn on Offerings if it is off. The two sub-settings only appear while it is on.
  3. Turn on "Show offerings at the end".
  4. Publish the form. Edits are drafts until you do.
  5. Clients now get your contact fields, then your questions, then the offering picker, then add-ons, then any follow-ups.
  6. Questions you gated on a specific offering or tier are not lost. They move to a follow-up step asked after the client chooses, along with anything that depends on them.

Require a photo on your inquiry form

Make clients attach at least one photo before they can send you an inquiry.

  1. Open Forms and open the form you want to change.
  2. In "Built-in sections" at the top of the builder, turn on Photo upload if it is off. The requirement only appears while it is on.
  3. Turn on "Require at least one photo".
  4. Publish the form. Edits are drafts until you do.
  5. Clients can now add up to 5 photos, and cannot continue past that step until at least one is attached. Leave the toggle off to keep photos optional.

Let clients pick more than one day

Take a whole weekend as one inquiry instead of several, and cap how long a span can run.

  1. Open Forms and open the form you want to change.
  2. In "Built-in sections" at the top of the builder, turn on Availability calendar if it is off. The date sub-settings only appear while it is on.
  3. Turn on "Allow a date range".
  4. Set "Longest span" to the most days one inquiry may cover. Clients cannot drag past it.
  5. Publish the form. Edits are drafts until you do.
  6. Clients now pick a first and last day. Days in between count toward the span, since you cannot take another job on them, so a Friday to a Sunday is 3 days.

Let clients inquire without a firm date

Stop losing inquiries from clients who have not locked a venue, and so have no date to give you yet.

  1. Open Forms and open the form you want to change.
  2. In "Built-in sections" at the top of the builder, turn on Availability calendar if it is off.
  3. Turn on "Allow approximate dates".
  4. Publish the form. Edits are drafts until you do.
  5. Clients now choose how well they know the date: a specific day, a month, a year, or "Not sure yet".
  6. You see exactly what they gave. An approximate answer is not checked against your open days, and nothing turns it into a real date behind your back.
  7. When you accept, the day field starts blank on those inquiries, so you set the date once the client settles it with you.

Collect the date without a start time

Ask for the date alone when the run sheet gets set months after the booking.

  1. Open Forms and open the form you want to change.
  2. In "Built-in sections" at the top of the builder, find Availability calendar.
  3. Turn off "Ask for a start time".
  4. Publish the form. Edits are drafts until you do.
  5. Clients now see the date picker, how long the event runs, and the location, with no start time or time zone to fill in.

Import a Google Form

Import your questions from an existing Google Form.

First, in Google Forms

  1. Open your form and click Send in the top right, then the link tab, and copy that URL.
  2. Check Settings for anything that forces respondents to sign in. We read the form the way a client would, so anything that stops them stops us.
  3. A file upload question always requires sign in and there is no way to turn that off. Collect email addresses set to Verified, and Limit to 1 response, do the same.
  4. If none of those can change, upload the form to Bazaar as a PDF instead and we will read it that way.
Open Google Forms
  1. Open Templates in the sidebar, then Forms and click "New form", then "Import from Google Forms".
  2. Paste your form link. The address in your browser bar while you are editing works too, we convert it.
  3. Open "Where do I find this link?" in the modal if you are not sure which link to copy.
  4. If the import cannot reach your form, use Upload in the error and give us a PDF or screenshot of it instead.
  5. Review what came in. The banner at the top of the builder shows what was imported, what moved into a built-in section, and what was skipped.
  6. Publish when the form looks right. Nothing goes live until you do.

Import a Jotform

Import your questions from an existing Jotform.

First, in Jotform

  1. Open your form in Jotform, click Publish, and copy the link shown there.
  2. Make sure the form is enabled, has no password, and does not require respondents to log in.
Open Jotform
  1. Open Templates in the sidebar, then Forms and click "New form", then "Import from Jotform".
  2. Paste the public link to your form.
  3. If the import cannot reach your form, use Upload in the error and give us a PDF or screenshot of it instead.
  4. Review what came in, then publish when it looks right.

Import a form from a PDF or screenshot

Upload a PDF, screenshot, or Word file of a form and we will turn it into a Bazaar form.

  1. Open Templates in the sidebar, then Forms and start an import from Google Forms or Jotform.
  2. Paste your form link and click Import. If we cannot reach the form, the error offers an Upload button.
  3. Click Upload and choose a PDF, screenshot, or Word file of your form. To make one, open your form and print it to PDF.
  4. We read the questions out of the file. Give it a clearer image if anything comes back missing.
  5. Review what came in, then publish when it looks right. Nothing goes live until you do.
