Contacts and messages

For hosts

People you have worked with, and the conversations you have had.

Messages

Your conversations with the vendors you have contacted, in one place instead of scattered across email.

  1. Open Messages from the sidebar.
  2. Pick a vendor on the left to read the conversation.
  3. Type in the box at the bottom to reply. You can attach photos and files with the paperclip.
  4. A conversation appears here as soon as a vendor you contacted sends you a message. Vendors start these conversations, so there is nothing to open from your side until one of them writes to you.
  5. Once the vendor accepts your booking, the same conversation also shows up on the event, under its Chat tab.
  6. If a vendor declines, the conversation stays readable but you can no longer reply to it.

Contacts

People you have worked with, invited, or booked, ready to reuse instead of retyping.

  1. Open Contacts in the sidebar. In a business workspace it sits under Bookings. On the phone it is under Business.
  2. Your contacts are built automatically from your past events, inquiries and bookings, so you do not have to add them.
  3. Use Filters to narrow by relationship (client, vendor, co-host, guest), or search by name, email or phone.
  4. Open a contact to see how you know them, and to add a nickname, notes, or dietary and accessibility needs.
  5. If you are acting as a business, you see that business’s shared client list; switch back to personal for your own people.

Add a contact

Add someone to your address book by hand. Most contacts arrive on their own from your events and bookings.
