Consultations

For vendors

Set your hours and let clients book a call.

Consultations

Let clients book a call or a tasting with you, on times you choose.

  1. Open Bookings in the sidebar, then Consultations. It is a Bazaar Plus feature.
  2. Turn on "Let clients book consultations".
  3. On the Availability tab, set the timezone your hours are in, then switch on the days you work and set the hours. "Use weekdays, 9 to 5" fills a normal week you can adjust.
  4. On the Types tab, add what a client can book: how long it runs, whether it is a video call, a phone call or in person, how much notice you need, and how far ahead people can book.
  5. For a video type, connect a calendar and Bazaar makes a fresh meeting link for every booking. Without one you can paste your own meeting room instead.
  6. Once a type and some hours exist, the page shows your booking link. Send it from an inquiry in Bookings, or copy it and share it directly.
  7. With more than one type on offer, "Copy link" becomes a menu: copy your booking page for someone who should choose, or copy the link for one type to send them straight to picking a time for it. The same per-type link is on each row of the Types tab.

You will need Bazaar Plus first.

Set when clients can book you

Choose the days and times clients can pick from, and close off the dates you are away.

  1. Open Bookings in the sidebar, then Consultations and go to the Availability tab.
  2. Check "Your scheduling timezone" first. Your hours are set in this zone and stay put when you travel, and clients always see the times converted into their own.
  3. Switch on each day you work and set the hours. "Use weekdays, 9 to 5" fills a normal week you can then adjust, and a day can hold more than one range if you break for lunch.
  4. For a one-off, use "Date overrides" below. Pick the day, then either set different hours for it or mark yourself unavailable all day. This is how you take a day off without touching your normal week.
  5. Everything saves itself as you change it.

Choose what clients can book

Decide what a client is booking: how long it runs, where it happens, and how much notice you need.

  1. Open Bookings in the sidebar, then Consultations and go to the Types tab, then click "New type".
  2. Name it the way a client would read it, for example "Tasting" or "15 minute intro call", and set how long it runs.
  3. Pick where it happens. Video, phone or in person. Phone and in person just need your number or the address.
  4. For video you have two choices. Connect a calendar and Bazaar makes a fresh meeting link for every booking, or paste your own meeting room and every booking uses that same room. A type set to generate a link is hidden from clients until a calendar is connected, so nobody can book a call Bazaar cannot make a link for.
  5. Set the buffers, the notice you need before a booking, and how far ahead people can book. Buffers protect the gap either side, so a back to back booking cannot land on top of your travel time.
  6. To stop offering one, switch it off. It disappears from your booking page and anything already booked keeps its time.
  7. To change a type later, or remove one for good, use the "..." menu beside it. Edit reopens the same form. Delete only works for a type nobody has booked yet: once someone has booked it, the booking needs the type to keep its name, so Bazaar will say so and point you at the switch instead.

Send reminders and follow-ups automatically

Let Bazaar do the chasing: reply to new inquiries, remind people before the call, and follow up after it. These now live in Routines.

  1. These moved to Routines, and anything you had set up moved with it, still switched on if it was on before. Open Routines from the sidebar.
  2. Each rule you had is a routine now, named for the moment it runs on. Click one to change its timing, its wording, or who it goes to.
  3. To add a new one, click "New routine" and pick the moment under When: "someone inquires", "they still have not booked", "a call is coming up", "a call has finished", "they do not show up" or "they cancel a call".
  4. Under Then, choose what happens. "Invite them to book a call" sends your booking link and lets you pick which call type. "Send them a message" is your own wording, with buttons to drop in their name, your business name or the date.
  5. A routine is checked again the moment before it acts, so someone who has already booked never gets chased to book, and the routine says why when it holds back.
  6. The page tells you how many times a routine would have run over the last 30 days, and "Try it on a real one" shows what would happen against your most recent record without sending anything.
