Account settings

Manage your profile, phone, password, and notification preferences.

1. Open Account settings from your account menu.
2. Use the top section to change your profile photo.
3. Under "Basic information" click Edit to change your name, email, or phone. A new phone shows a Verify button until you confirm the code.
4. "Sign-in methods" is where you connect or disconnect Google and add a password. Apple sign-in is connected from the Bazaar iOS app.
5. Under "Notification preferences" pick Email or Phone. Phone only unlocks once your number is verified.
6. Below that, subscribe to an RSVP response digest across every event you host, and set how hosts may remind you about events you are invited to.

Turn on calendar busy sync (Bazaar Plus) so days you are busy on your connected Google or Apple calendar are automatically blocked for new inquiries. Manage it on the connection in Calendar settings.

Update your name and profile picture.

Choose whether you get notifications by email or SMS.

Turn off product news or tips without losing the emails you actually need.

1. Open Account settings from the account menu.
2. Find "What we send you" under Notification preferences.
3. Turn off "Product news and announcements", "Tips and summaries", or both. Changes save as you toggle.
4. The third switch, "Event reminders", is a separate thing and is covered by its own answer. Turning off product news does not touch your reminders, and vice versa.
5. Booking, contract, invoice, invite and RSVP messages are always sent, so turning these off never costs you anything you need.
6. Every marketing email also has an Unsubscribe link in its footer if you would rather do it from your inbox.

Stop reminders about events you are working on, across email, text and push, in one switch.

1. Open Account settings from the account menu.
2. Find "What we send you" under Notification preferences.
3. Turn off "Event reminders". It saves as you toggle.
4. This one switch covers every channel at once, so the emails, the texts and the phone notifications all stop together.
5. It also covers the schedule Bazaar sends vendors the day before an event, so turning it off stops that too.
6. Reminders still appear in your in-app notification list. Turning the switch off stops the interruptions, it does not hide anything from you.
7. Booking, contract, invoice, invite and RSVP messages are always sent and are not affected.
8. To silence one schedule item rather than everything, a host can switch off the reminder for that single item from the Run of show tab instead.

Set how far ahead reminders reach you, once, and set different timings for the kinds of thing that deserve them.

1. Open Account settings from the account menu.
2. Under Notification preferences, find "My usual timing".
3. Pick any of the chips: a week before, the day before, the morning of, an hour before. Pick more than one and you get more than one reminder.
4. Pick none and each event reminds you on whatever schedule it was set up with.
5. Under "Except for these", add a kind of thing and give it its own timing. A wedding is worth a week of warning; a film is worth an hour.
6. A timing you choose on one particular event beats both of these, for that event only.
7. "Let Bazaar fine-tune the timing" only ever shifts or pauses reminders you already picked. It never adds one you did not.

The day before an event you are working, Bazaar sends you your part of the run of show automatically.

1. You do not need to set anything up. It goes out at 9am on the day before the event, in the timezone of the event itself.
2. It covers only the items tagged for your role, plus anything tagged for everyone and anything left untagged, and it includes any private note left for you on an item.
3. The email carries a PDF you can print or forward to your crew. That PDF is a snapshot of the schedule at the moment it was sent.
4. The link in the email and the text opens the live version, so check that on the day if plans move.
5. If you have a Bazaar account you also get it in your notifications, and as a phone notification if you have those on.
6. Texts only go out if you chose text as your notification method, and only when the host has set a timezone on the event.
7. To stop it, turn off "Event reminders" in Account settings. That same switch also covers checklist reminders.

Every bill your vendors have sent you, and a way to pay it from your phone.

1. Open Settings and tap Invoices. Every bill a vendor has sent you is here, newest first, with what is still owed.
2. Tap one to open it. Drafts a vendor has not sent yet never appear.
3. Choose how much to pay: the next amount due, the full balance, or your own amount within the range the vendor allows.
4. Tap Pay to open the payment sheet, then pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a card. The money goes to the vendor, not to Bazaar.

What is happening now and next, on your phone, while an event you host is running.

1. Open Settings and turn on "Show event Live Activity". It is off until you turn it on.
2. It starts on its own about two hours before an event you own, and stays until the event ends.
3. The event needs a run of show. Without one there is nothing to show, so nothing appears, and that is the usual reason it seems not to work.
4. On iPhone it sits on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. On Android it is an ongoing notification you can pull down.
5. It shows what is happening now and next from your run of show, and guests checking in as they arrive, refreshing about once a minute.
6. It clears itself when the event ends. Turning the switch back off removes it straight away.

Set a new password for your account.

Connect Google or Apple (iCloud) calendars for two-way sync, and choose which connected calendar(s) your Bazaar events are added to. Google uses a one-click sign-in; Apple uses an app-specific password (generated at appleid.apple.com).

1. Open Account and go to the Calendar Sync tab.
2. Click "Connect Google Calendar" and sign in, or "Connect Apple Calendar" and enter your Apple ID plus an app-specific password.
3. Apple will not take your normal password. Generate an app-specific one at appleid.apple.com under Sign-In & Security, then paste it in.
4. Once connected, your confirmed Bazaar events start appearing on that calendar, and your upcoming calendar events become importable here.
5. Each connected calendar has an "Add Bazaar events to this calendar" switch. Turn it off for a calendar you would rather keep clean; existing Bazaar events are removed from it.
6. Use "Add Google Calendar" or "Add Apple Calendar" again to connect a second account, and "Disconnect" to unlink one.
7. If you run a business, "Block busy times from inquiries" (Bazaar Plus) also blocks the days you are busy so new inquiries cannot double-book you.

Permanently delete your account and the data attached to it. This cannot be undone.

1. Open Account settings and scroll to the Delete account section, or go to bazaar.events/delete-account directly.
2. Read what is removed (your profile, the events and businesses you own, and your bookings, contracts, and invoices) and what is kept.
3. Type DELETE in the confirmation box, then click Delete.
4. Confirm once more. Your account is deleted and you are signed out. Backup copies are purged within 30 days.
5. If you cannot sign in, email support@bazaar.events from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
