Social Events By J

Jeanette was an amazing wedding planner! She is extremely helpful, caring, knowledgeable, and very organized. She ensured that our wedding ran smoothly. Even when hiccups did occur, we didn’t feel like something wasn’t going the way we planned because Jeanette had everything under control. Jeanette and her team are extremely reliable. Jeanette and her team even went above and beyond and helped us with money management for our wedding, which helped with the easy facilitation of our Nigerian wedding. Not only that, but Jeanette also helped us with coordinating with an amazing security company that helped to instill order and prevent wedding crashers from entering the wedding. I would and will recommend Social Events by J to any couple that is getting married.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Social Events by J provided Day of Coordination for our wedding, but honestly the services that were rendered were above and beyond. Jeanette and her team were absolutely crucial in ensuring the success of our wedding. She began working with us well before our big day, and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed each of our planning meetings with Jeanette during which she helped us stay on track and provided guidance that helped us de-stress during the planning phase. Her services included ensuring we had a concrete timeline, communicating with the other vendors so everyone was on the same page, handling all set up and tear down for the wedding, and flawlessly capturing our vision for the look and vibes of the wedding. There are A LOT of moving parts in a wedding and thanks to Jeanette we did not have to worry about anything except enjoying the moments throughout the day. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a wedding planner or DOC!

Working with Jeanette, owner of Social Events by J, was truly a pleasant, amazing experience! She did a phenomenal job looking up vendors for my weight loss reveal party in August 2022 and her professionalism was priceless. I started working with her in January 2022 to plan a weight loss reveal party in the Bronx, NY and she stayed super professional and diligent to ensure my event was a success. Although she had a death of an immediate family member during the planning process, I was impressed and amazed that she continued to plan my event and didn’t cease her service with me. I loved how she navigated my budget and looked for vendors that fit my budget. At the last minute, a week before my event date, I wanted to have a projector at my event to show attendees a video of my before pictures and video clips, but I didn’t have the extra money to rent a projector and screen. Jeanette’s creativity saved the day and she created a QR code that people were able to scan on their cellphones so they could view the video on their phone. Her problem solving skills came in handy and I was so grateful that she resolved any issues I had and made my experience working with her super rewarding. I highly recommend utilizing Social Events by J for your next event.
