Ambassador agreement

Version 2026-09-15

What this is

You share a personal link. When a business signs up for Bazaar through it and goes on to pay for a subscription, you earn a commission. That is the whole arrangement.

You are not a Bazaar employee, contractor or agent, and nothing here creates any of those. You have no quota, no required hours, no territory and no exclusivity. You decide if, when and how you take part.

When you get paid

A commission becomes payable when a business you referred has been a paying subscriber for 60 continuous days. One payment per referred business, not a recurring share.

A free trial is not a payment. A signup that never converts earns nothing, and neither does a business that cancels inside those first two months.

Introducing someone who books a call with us but never becomes a paying subscriber earns nothing. We would rather say that plainly than let you find out later.

How much

Your rate is set by the total number of businesses you have referred who signed up, counted for as long as you have been in the programme. It does not reset.

  • 0 to 24 signups: $5 per conversion
  • 25 to 49 signups: $10 per conversion
  • 50 or more signups: $20 per conversion

How the rate is fixed

Your rate is read on the day a commission becomes payable, and is then fixed to that payment. Later referrals raise your rate for later payments; they never change one already recorded.

You can earn commission on up to 10 converted businesses. We will tell you before you reach it.

How you are paid

Payments are made monthly, in arrears, after we review what became payable. You can choose cash, or credit against your own Bazaar subscription if you have one.

For cash, we need a W-9 (US) or W-8BEN (non-US) on file before the first payment. Whether or not you receive a tax form from us, what you earn is your own income to declare.

Disclose the link, every time

Any time you share your link you must say that you earn a commission. This is a legal requirement, not a Bazaar preference, and it applies no matter how small the payment or how few people see it.

Use this exact wording, placed where it cannot be missed: "#Ad. I earn a commission if you sign up through my link."

On social posts it goes at the start, before any "see more" cut-off.

What not to do

The event community is small and talks. Anything that makes Bazaar look like spam costs us more than a referral is worth.

  • No unsolicited link drops in groups, forums or comment sections.
  • No bidding on Bazaar brand terms in paid search.
  • No referring yourself, your own businesses, or businesses you work for or hold a role in.
  • No promising anything we have not: no earnings claims, no booking guarantees, no discounts that do not exist.
  • Never present yourself as a Bazaar employee.

When we will not pay

We review every commission before it is paid. We will not pay for a business that was already in our pipeline, already had an unclaimed profile on Bazaar, or had already been in contact with us before your referral.

We may withhold or reclaim a payment where a referral breaches this agreement, where the subscription is refunded or charged back, or where the referral is not genuine.

If we hold something back we will tell you why.

Ending it

Either of us can end this at any time, for any reason, with no notice. Commissions already payable when it ends are still paid.

We may change these terms. Changes apply to referrals made after we tell you, never retroactively to a commission already earned.
